He said he would encourage trolley riders to get off on our block IF there was significant activities here, and he wants to know exactly what's going on at Kirke and Tarnish & Gold so he can hype the experience. The paintings are focused on the idea of the archetype verses environment. Often splitting self into several characters and interacting on canvas. This process reshapes reality and the perception of the environment. Scott West’s current work resonates between observation and rhythm. Often depicting human and animal archetypes of raw emotion entangled in complex compositions. Saturated in color West narrates the final scene of a play often leaving you pondering what took place.
